Responsive Website’s Benefits

I am passionate about Responsive website design (RWD). And I am pretty excited about the way things are going on and how creatives are making the full use of it to make awesomely good and productive site.
One of the thing that really excited me and which I didn’t know until last week was even google recommended use of responsive website design as a better approach. You might have different argument over using responsive design or mobile website or even an app, but its better if possible to stick with if possible.
As an SEO understudy and a responsive web design enthusiasts it motivated me a lot. Responsive website really does make sense for following circumstances:

  • You can avoid user being redirected to different url or site
  • You can show more content to the user
  • Saves resources for both site and Google’s crawlers.

How does Responsive Web Design work?
The main idea behind responsive web design is to make a website work on multiple devices. This is made possible by writing CSS for different screen sizes via media queries. Media queries are written for different screen sizes in order to fit and accommodate site to different screen sizes.
